After a very cozy start to the day, I decided to become active again around 1:00 PM. I took my bike first to Grøtfjord for a small hike, and afterwards to Ersfjord for another hike.
The first 36 km flew by. The last four were a real struggle - I hadn’t considered that it was all uphill for about 4 km. Exhausted and with wobbly legs, I was quite proud and started a diverse hike with a nice starting point at an idyllic mountain lake. The view into another fjord with snow-covered mountains and white-blue beaches made me quickly forget the effort.
The way back was, of course, much more relaxed, and I felt like I was moving quickly (maybe it was also due to the delicious cardamom bun at the summit?). Upon arriving at the next fjord, I even got lucky, and the cloud cover occasionally cleared, allowing me to glimpse the light blue sky now and then. Although the weather was rather dull today, it certainly did not diminish the view. I enjoyed the scenery for quite a while and treated myself to a non-alcoholic beer again. Finally, I remembered to take it from the fridge.
