The next morning, there was again a bright blue sky, screeching seagulls, white beaches, and a wonderful vacation feeling. I took th

Once again, my cycling route took me back to the ferry to Botnhamn along the beautiful fjords, passing countless waterfalls, impressive mountains, idyllic lakes, and quite a few campers by the roadside. I had chosen a little hike at Husøy, which turned out to be very rewarding. I was able to view the fjord with the mountains Segla and Hesten from almost all directions. At the summit of Riven, I met a true Norwegian - directly from the adjacent mini-island of Husøy - who initially thought I was a Norwegian as well. However, when he started speaking a bit faster, I had to ask him to slow down, which revealed me. A very pleasant chat!
The path to the ferry was grand as it went downhill. It felt funny to be almost as fast as the motorcycle and car drivers, who were really driving leisurely here. Upon arriving at the ferry, I treated myself to a fresh waffle, recommended by the lady at the counter with Brunost (brown cheese). Conclusion: I'd gladly do it again, it was very delicious!
Now it was to be from Brensholmen to my accommodation in Tromsø. A good 80 km. The first stretch (about 15 km) was a bit tedious due to construction work with a lot of gravel, following which there was a strong headwind, but at least the road was again very well passable. Nevertheless, the view of further mountains, the beautiful sun, the colorful wildflower meadows, a cute encounter with cows, and those delightfully refreshing streams more than made up for all the adversities. Upon returning to the accommodation, I felt quite proud and happy to have cycled more than 150 km. After a hot shower, I cooked something to eat (this should last me for the next 3 days). I was really hungry. Davey also came home, and we had another very nice evening.
