We didn't see any bears, even though you can certainly encounter them in Yosemite, but we've been able to observe many other animals and take photos of some:

Jaybirds and squirrels in Yosemite, squirrels in the Grand Canyon, lizards in Antelope, seagulls and chicks on Alcatraz and in San Francisco, and sea lions at Pier 39.
