Cycling to work

It was a long drive for me and my service bike to Portugal, but since my Portuguese habitat is about 20 km away from my workplace, it was worth it. Cycling to work goes well. On my first ride, I had to look around a bit, but then about 85% of the route is on bike paths.

When it goes over roads, the drivers are very considerate.

Everything, except for the bridges, is quite flat. Most of the route runs along the lagoon “Ria de Avairo”. A beautiful landscape.

The weather can vary from sunshine to fog to rain, as well as from a light breeze to strong winds. I have not (yet) experienced a storm. When there is a strong headwind, one appreciates a little help from the electric drive.

After
about 22 km and 80 minutes, I was there, or back. As you can see: the ride out at sunrise, the return at sunset, and in the dark.
