The Planning

In April 2023, the Bechtle Location Rotation was successfully piloted. This is a program through which employees can work temporarily at participating locations. You have to take care of travel and accommodation yourself. If I am correctly informed, there are no exceptions regarding the use of the fuel card for arrival/departure or for using a company car (=you have to pay for the fuel yourself).

Unfortunately, I could only plan for 2024 due to personal reasons. The procedure was straightforward:

1. Schedule a meeting with the managers
2. Search for 'location rotation' in SharePoint
   
3. Fill out the application.

Since I chose Aveiro/Portugal, I also applied for an educational leave for initial steps in learning the language.

I presented the plan to my managers, and it was approved with goodwill. I would like to take this opportunity to thank them.
