Our flight landed at shortly after three Japanese time. After we went through customs and got our visas, we picked up our backpacks.
When we tried to log into the Wi-Fi, we quickly noticed that some apps like WhatsApp were no longer working.
Jan got a little something from Starbucks and we called a taxi. We also had the problem that here, often you couldn't pay with a credit card, but only with Alipay.
We arrived at the hostel at half-past five. Unfortunately, we couldn't check in yet, so we just laid down in the lobby. We tried to catch a bit of sleep on the chairs.
We were only able to check in at 2 PM. Before that, we searched for something to eat for lunch. The only vegan option I could find was instant noodles and a seaweed salad. Getting vegan food wasn't that easy.
After check-in, I laid back down and dozed off a bit. Fortunately, Nagisa also arrived in the meantime. In the evening, the three of us went into the city again and explored the area.
