The lizards had another argument today

The day started again exactly as almost every day on La Gomera has felt. Breakfast, coffee, and then straight back to soaking up the sun. And this routine continued quite successfully until the evening.

However, the real main characters of the day were not us, but the seemingly hundred lizards around our Airbnb. They were simply everywhere. And there was constant bickering. Little discussions among the stones, frantic running around, and those surprisingly cute little sounds they make in the process. Suddenly, one sat next to the sun lounger and just looked at me. At times, they would run right over my book in the middle of an argument and disappear again as if nothing had happened.

In between, there was also a strawberry yogurt snack that truly felt like a little luxury highlight at that moment.

In the evening, we decided to go out for a relaxed dinner and ended up at Hotel Bar Sonia. And of course, we had to have Papas Arrugadas and an Aperol Spritz again. By now, probably our official island dinner.
