Off the tourist trail, I was literally the only tourist at the time in this little village. But this fact made it even greater and very special. On the first day, I got to see another rainforest part of the Peninsula and in contrast to Corcovado, there weren't even real trails, so the experience of the nature was even more close or authentic. I also got to see an organic cacao and fruit farm, whose owner Sandro was a very nice guy to talk to and very sincere about being an organic planter.
The next day, I went for gold washing in a nearby creek (sorry forgot the name) and the people there were so nice and friendly, you wouldn't believe it. Great!
Minus: I got mosquito stings that lasted for days. Ouch!
