Today we are not heading to Civitavecchia; instead, we have booked the excursion 'Tuscania and Wine' through TUI Cruises.
Our 5-hour excursion departs directly from the ship at 08:15 AM.
After about 1 hour of bus ride and plenty of information from our guide, we reach Tuscania. The bus stops near the Porta di Poggio, one of the town gates leading into the medieval village.
We walk through the city gate, and our guide has a lot to share about the town. Quaint little alleys with shops and restaurants.
We reach the Torre di Lavello with its park. From here, there is a beautiful view.
