Since we rushed past the bizarre apple landscape between the east and south coasts by bus in recent days, we pressed the ⭕️ button in LaRoque this time and got off.
It's crazy how strong the tides are here. The rocky landscape at low tide is impressive, a world of its own.
We also visited the oyster beds; they actually send tractors out there where there is 8 meters of water 5 hours later.
Of course, we returned to safe land in time and didn’t need to use the rescue tower.
Then we continued by bus to the small harbor village of St. Aubin. Delicious seafood and a great view. We headed back to St. Helier along the bay by the beach, enjoying the best summer weather.
Fortunately, we had booked a sunset tour with the 'Jersey Duchess' for today. Before that, we had dinner, once again enjoying delicious seafood from the sea or the canal.
The two-hour boat trip along the south coast during sunset was grand. Of course, it was a great photo opportunity.
