Stay in Frankfurt
Due to cancellations and rescheduling, we are starting with a long stay in Frankfurt (10h). A cozy room with a view of the runway will help us pass the time until the next flight.

We have arrived safely in Namibia and have driven the first 250 km with our rental car. Along the way, we have already seen antelopes like kudus and dikdiks, many birds, warthogs, baboons, termite mounds, and of course many livestock such as cows and goats. The first night in the rooftop tent was quite chilly, with temperatures just above 0°C. We may see hyenas that communicate with each other by calling during daylight. In any case, we will buy a few hats and another blanket just in case the nights get even colder.
