If you know things work, why not do them again?
We are slowly making our way back and decided we want to visit two campsites where we felt particularly comfortable last time. So yesterday, we left the Geirangerfjord and headed to the Sognefjord.
It was purely a travel day and we chose a nice route on the map. Highlight for Günni: we rediscovered the high plateau from our last vacation and finally know where we drove, along the Sognefjellsvegen.
It felt a bit like coming home and it was nice to recognize familiar corners and landscapes. Upon arriving in Sogndal, we enjoy a pizza and then head to the Kjørnes campsite, where we will settle in until Monday.
What we hope to accomplish this time: a visit to the glacier. Unfortunately, we missed that last time. And before it's really too late and all the glaciers melt away, we want to see one up close this time.
But first, coffee and catching up on the delayed blog, one step at a time 😄
