Hey Folks,
today was relaxed.
After a rainy morning and a shopping trip in Macduff, we set off to visit our neighboring village of Crovie. The walk takes about 30 minutes and goes along the cliffs. The village of Crovie was founded in the 18th century and consists solely of old houses, which cannot be accessed by cars because they were built so close between the cliffs and the sea that they are only reachable on foot. It is the only village in all of Great Britain where the use of cars within the village is impossible.
On the way back to the apartment, we stopped at the only, but famous cafe in this region, 'Bumble and Brae', and indulged in coffee, hot chocolate, and cake.
Now we're just chilling a bit and later tonight we’ll head to the only pub in Gardenstown. We are excited :o))
Oh.. and one more piece of info... the free version of this site allows only 20 photos per post, so there won’t be more here.
Wishing you a lovely evening and see you tomorrow....
