Along the coast to Vaasa

From Oulu, we continued along the coast (Oh dear, now it's becoming quite a Baltic Sea tour!) until we reached Vaasa. We visited small fishing villages and enjoyed the sun there, made stops at various beaches and highly acclaimed sand dunes, and then drove to Vaasa, a city on the Finnish Baltic Sea that was once Swedish. There, we spent the night at the harbor, in a really nice parking lot right by the water, on the meadow under the trees, and the next day we explored the city center, which is quite unspectacular (lots of buildings from the 70s), but there was an international food market where, of course, we also found a German specialty: currywurst. We found out that in Finland, unlike in Norway, they don't say Tyskland for Germany, but Saksa - which naturally flatters us as true Saxons. Why the Finns (and the Estonians too) say Saksa, we haven't been able to find out yet. Do you maybe have an idea?
