Day 47

(13.07.) The joint of the tiller extension is broken and needs to be replaced. There wasn't a suitable shop to be found in the city center. Therefore, we are trying one of the ship suppliers at the large marinas on the outskirts of the city.

At around 11:00 AM, we leave the guest harbor of Turku. In search of a suitable shop, we cruise for 3.5 hours through the archipelagos and harbors of Turku. Unfortunately, without success. The tiller extension must wait until we reach Stockholm or find a suitable shop in the Ålands.

We bid farewell to Turku and head back into the archipelago, looking for a sheltered anchorage south of the island of Ruotsalainen around 7:30 PM.
