From Nizwa, we traveled across the desert on a well-paved road. Almost 1,000 km to Salalah in the southwest right on the Indian Ocean. We spent one night halfway through the trip.

Our holiday apartment is right by the beach. Salalah is known for its green oases with fruit cultivation.
