Wolfgangsee

We are spending a week in St. Gilgen right by Wolfgangsee. Our hotel is almost directly by the lake, you only need to cross a small street. One day we hiked from St. Gilgen to St. Wolfgang, around 10 km. Initially along the water and then through the forest above the lake with glimpses of the lake. St. Wolfgang is worth a visit, it has many tourists and the White Horse Inn is not that impressive. We returned by boat, taking about 45 minutes back to St. Gilgen. One day I also visited Mondsee, which is just a few kilometers from Wolfgangsee for golfing.
