Tag 16 - Halbinsel Kassandra

This morning we had already reached 11 degrees. We were woken by the firefighting plane, which was conducting training flights here involving water landings, water collection in flight, and water drops. We are now planning to circle around the Kassandra Peninsula. At the next supermarket, we will replenish our vegetable supplies.

The southern part of the peninsula is very mountainous, and at times we drive in second gear. We will take a lunch break at the small chapel of St. Nicolas, located at the southern end of Kassandra.

Here, yellow composite flowers and the spiral-shaped wand are blooming. The first thistle butterfly, a hummingbird hawkmoth, and a lemon butterfly make an appearance.

In Posidi, we will stay overnight at the beach.
