Day 10

We are leaving Platariabeach and our first destination is a hardware store in Ioannina and a vegetable garden. The A2/E90 impressively winds through the mountains. From 0 to 1160 m altitude, with great bridges and many tunnels.

In Ioannina, we fill up - €1.50/liter diesel. At Praktiker hardware store, we get everything we need, at My Markt we buy the vegetables, and then we continue towards the Meteora monasteries. Near Rizoma, we find a relatively quiet spot, but today it’s buzzing with bird hunters, who are firing recklessly like crazy. Just as absurd as in Portugal (and in Spain, Italy, Austria, Egypt....)
