The first day of travel is behind us. What a stress. We were supposed to pick up our Go-Box for Austria at one of the pickup points. Since we planned to drive through Imst to Italy, Nassereith was our pickup point. Think again: closed. But we received the information that the Reschen Pass is partially closed and truck traffic is only allowed at certain times. So, we take the Brenner Pass. In Innsbruck, according to ASFINAG, at the Shell gas station: GO-BOX??? NO, not for us. Great, let's let Asfinag guide us to the next point. Where do we end up: on the A2. We take the next exit. Then we drive to the Shell station Innsbruck South. Here we get the box. I call Asfinag to make a payment. Apparently, that’s not possible. If we receive any mail, I should explain the situation, but they had a system failure today anyway, so nothing should come.

After our trust in this system was completely shattered, especially since the gentleman at the pickup point had no idea what he was doing, we drove the old Brenner road to Sterzing and decided to spend the night at a spot we knew from our previous trips.
