Full day at Aow Yai Beach (Long Beach)
Today was a full day at Long Beach. My stubborn child wanted to go there, I think she isn't feeling well. I wonder who she inherited that from!? We started with breakfast at...

I woke up and realized we needed to see a doctor since my daughter had gotten worse. I scraped together all our money, grabbed the visa card and went to the reception to order a taxi.
While waiting for the doctor, I noticed that XX was higher up in my feed and my heart skipped a beat. Did she send something I missed? No, in my usual clumsy way, it seems I managed to send both a thumbs up and an F to her at night when I was in the bathroom and used my phone as a flashlight. So typical of me 🤦🏼♀️
We didn't have to wait too long for the examination. Since my daughter didn't have a high fever, they didn't want to prescribe antibiotics but instead gave her some herbs. Considering that my daughter and I had not been recommended the same penicillin for the same bacteria, it was still a relief. However, we had hoped for something for the oral yeast infection, but it wasn't available on the island and we were referred to the mainland. My daughter chose to push through. So how do we settle the bill with the doctor… 80 baht 😁 the round trip cost 350 baht.
I went down to the harbor and managed to get some soda water. However, I had no luck finding 50+ and after sun. Took a tuk-tuk to Chai Chai for a health drink. My daughter had a spirulina shot with lemon. It was really monster green. I enjoyed a roti and a vanilla shake. We just took it easy on our beach and in the evening, we went to Hippy Bar for dinner at sunset… we thought. The kitchen opened at 18:30 and the food took 40 minutes… but it was cozy and laid back. Wow, there were a lot of people smoking there. But still, a really nice vibe. I still haven't gotten used to drugs being openly sold. It wasn't like that in 2017 when we were here.
