It just keeps getting hotter here, so today we took a relaxing day. After our morning walk with breakfast at Annie’s and then shopping at Lotus, we just lounged on sunbeds by the pool with our books. Now it's so hot that the sweat is dripping off us, and we had to jump in the pool several times to cool off. We had lunch at the hotel's restaurant Siwa by the beach. They claim to be a nice restaurant with higher prices. I was about to leave before we even got to order. However, my daughter wanted Satay, so she fetched the staff to place the order. The food took a while, and I got my meal well before hers. Seven nuts in a cashew dish and bones in the chicken. My daughter’s skewers were good but questionably prepared, so she only ate two-thirds. I mentioned it, but there was no response.
In the evening, we had a massage. A 90-minute truly beneficial massage. The masseuse quickly found my problematic shoulder and worked much more on my entire left side, which I still have issues with after the accident.
We ended with fresh pasta at the night market and an Oreo ice cream. I don't think we want to go home, so we skipped packing tonight…
Tomorrow we’ll be traveling back to Sweden. I don't want to for several different reasons…
