On Thursday, I was assigned to the Cantonal Hospital Frauenfeld. First, I removed 5 network cables that were no longer needed. Then, I had to dismantle the cables from the old plate exchanger, which required untangling cables over a distance of 60m from the conduit - sometimes a true detective job. The hospital in the upper floors is operational, so you can't just cut a cable, which is why this work took a lot of time to ensure only the correct cables were dismantled. In the afternoon, we also modified a conduit to allow for the installation of a new ventilation channel. During a tour of the hospital, Frank showed and explained to me the interesting installations of the ventilation center, water treatment plant, and of course the cable pulling of 2x240 mm2 lines for the new hospital kitchen. Thursday was also an intense and interesting workday.
