Inspection of a commercial property

On Thursday, I had the opportunity to participate in the inspection of a commercial property in Thurgau. The commercial property consists of several building parts and multiple tenant units. First, a visual inspection was conducted, and then I began the low-resistance measurement. Many thanks to Felix Mischler from Certum for providing me with this opportunity. I was able to carry out many control measurements independently, and the collaborative work was enjoyable and made the day pass quickly. After checking the shuttle conductor connections, the rotating field, short-circuit currents, and tripping times of the residual current devices were also checked. During the visual inspection, it was always verified whether the correct components were installed. Some minor deficiencies, such as missing covers or loose sockets, were identified. Some labels could be created to be a bit more professional and durable. All in all, it was a very exciting day for me, also to see how the inspection is carried out with expertise from HV, NIN 95, NIN 2000 and all newer versions, that are considered and applied pragmatically. The safety of the users (personal protection) and of the building (property protection) is always paramount. After the inspection and the soon remedying of the lesser, not really dangerous deficiencies, this commercial property is ready for the next 10 years until the next inspection.
