After a delicious breakfast in our home stay, we went on the scooter again. It's just cool to cruise along the small streets... once you get the hang of it. Filling up is easy, right on the street at gas pumps as small as in the 70s. The locals enjoy tourist attractions. Dressed as “officials” with whistles and hats, they lure us to park on their property for a small fee or a purchased Coke. We start towards a mountain, the unspectacular name Mua Caves... But we haven't seen anything more beautiful here. An ancient complex full of photo spots. The locals rent traditional clothing here and pose for great photos everywhere. The climb to the dragon over 500 steps. On one side a small citadel at a lofty height and on the other side the dragon right on the edge of the mountain. Some are so brave and climb along the precipice. We'd rather let the drone fly. No expression is impressive. A beautiful view over the valley is reward enough. We continue to Ninh Binh, but there is nothing special there. Contrary to our expectations, it is a larger city. But the drive back through nature is simply enchanting.
