Wakewa Springs and Orlando (Disney Hollywood Studios)

10.3. We leave the east coast and head towards Wakewa Springs in Orlando. The nice gentleman at the RV exhibition recommended this place to us and we are very grateful to him because it is so beautiful here! After meeting a lively raccoon who is mostly interested in food (so far we have mostly seen raccoons that have been run over... :( we rent a kayak and paddle through a mirror-smooth "jungle river". We discover alligators, water turtles, and various beautiful plants. We are all by ourselves and enjoy the meditative atmosphere on the water. Afterwards, we continue to Orlando, the ultimate amusement center. We decide to do an escape room and have a great time solving puzzles on site! Afterwards, we visit Ripley's - Believe it or not Museum, which is very entertaining and reminiscent of old fairground stalls and circus. We replenish ourselves with delicious pizza and then drive to our motel.

11.3. Disney Hollywood StudiosEarly in the morning, we make pancakes in oversized waffle irons and then head to Disney Hollywood Studios. All parks have direct highway access, which means the highway ends in the parking lots, crazy. It's a very enjoyable day, especially the Star Wars attractions make a big impression. Some people wait up to three hours to visit one of the rides, it's really crowded. We listen to Lightning Mc Queen, get recruited by the Resistance, ride in Aerosmith's Cadillac, sing with Elsa, travel with Mickey and Minnie and Star Tours, enjoy the Muppet Show, watch Indiana Jones, and smuggle goods. It's a long but great day that ends at probably the most beautiful Thai restaurant with good food.
