For the last 12 kilometers, I take the country road to Tarascon to avoid an additional 15 kilometers due to the bends of the Rhone.
Now I have to wait for the hotel reception to open at 6:30 PM; continuous opening hours are uncommon in rural areas of France, not just in restaurants.
