Aarhus

Our next destination is Aarhus, the second-largest city in Denmark. This time we have chosen the parking area in Marselisborg Havens, a suburb. The parking area is located in a marina and is equipped with waste disposal, showers, and restrooms, so everything you need is available. The cost for the night is 30 euros plus electricity, which is very reasonable.

It takes about 10 minutes by bike to reach the city center, and many attractions, such as the Endless Bridge, the art museum with the Rainbow Path, and the Open-Air Museum, are easily accessible by bike from here. Aarhus has a beautiful city center like Aalborg, with many shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs that invite you to linger. We are always fascinated by the friendly and helpful people in Denmark. What stands out to us are the many young families with two or three children in this country.

From Aarhus, we want to take the ferry to Odden and then to Copenhagen; this is very convenient from the parking area, as the ferry terminal is in close proximity.
