Cap Ferret

We have traveled further south to the Atlantic coast, to Cap Ferret, near Arcachon. We are camping in an endless-seeming pine forest by the sea. The Atlantic is a bit cool, but after a short acclimatization, it's absolutely delightful for swimming! What's especially nice is that we have met dear friends here, Carsten and his family. After many attempts, almost to the point of despair, I finally learned to bake gluten-free flatbread on the gas stove with the friendly help of Brunny from Munich. Now that I know the tricks, I can experiment with different types of flour. We will stay here for another 10 nights, then we will move on to the border with Spain, Bayonne. Soon the holidays in France and Spain will begin, and the beaches won't be quite so empty anymore 😄
