Bilbao

Today we traveled from Zarautz to Bilbao by direct bus and explored the city for 6 hours. Of course, we compare Bilbao to San Sebastian, where we spent the last two days. In this regard, the major city of Bilbao falls short when compared to San Sebastian. (For more on San Sebastian, see the last entry in this travel blog). The Guggenheim Museum certainly shines, but those who think that the appeal continues throughout the city might be disappointed. In any case, we are glad that we did not get a spot at the campsite from which we originally planned to visit Bilbao for a week.
