At-lan-tik-o !!

The roads are becoming straighter, the landscape flat, with a gentle decline, the light getting brighter, the sky on the horizon white, and then it’s there!

And then this city, La Rochelle, is amazing. I've never heard of anyone taking a vacation there... but they should!! The harbor district is stunning: I estimate 1 1/2 km of bars, brasseries, restaurants, completely populated with young people. The only tourists are a few Brits, and us :-)

And the best part is that the Atlantic low-pollen effect seems to be working. Now we can get started. Cheers, we’re mingling with the people…
