Departure was on April 6, 2026, at 9:03 AM in Leipzig. We took the train to Frankfurt, and at 9:40 PM, the flight to Singapore departed. The plane landed at 10:05 AM our time, which is 6 hours later here (4:05 PM). We have a layover of about 4 hours and will remain in the transit area. At 8:25 PM, we will continue to Sydney, arriving tomorrow at around 6 AM local time.
This year, we started with heavy hearts, as our parents in assisted living are not doing particularly well. If the circumstances regarding bookings and costs were easier, we would have certainly canceled the tour. So despite everything, we are on our way, and we will also keep the blog, intended for them to participate in what they can no longer do themselves. We hope that they will receive support so they can also view the photos and entries. We will keep our eyes and ears open and the camera ready for all those interested.
