Rollercoaster of emotions!

First breakfast in Costa Rica – San José. There is rice with beans, warm bananas, fresh fruits like pineapple and watermelon, toast with butter, jam, and scrambled eggs. A few group members are already in the breakfast room. Some conversations are already taking place, but everyone is still very tired, including me. And then at eight o'clock it's time to leave the hotel and travel by our own minibus to Parque Nacional Volcán Irazú. But before we reach it, we stop at a supermarket to buy a few essentials (water jugs, fruits, Pepsi Max – what everyone needs). Tried out the self-service checkout, and after a few initial difficulties, it worked out. The credit card is cooperating as well. Hopefully, it stays that way! The drive to the volcano is incredibly beautiful. The landscape is breathtaking. There is so much to discover. We reach an altitude of over 3000 meters, which I really notice this time. It's so beautiful to look into the clouds surrounding us. Upon arriving at our destination, we take a stroll through the volcanic area or along the crater edge. Our guide explains many things to us. It's very exciting to listen to him – he really does a great job. There's a lot to discover, and the first amazing photos are already in the bag.
