Despite the scorching heat - 33 °, 67% humidity, we take a walk along the harbor, where there are mostly shaded pedestrian and cycling paths. 

Afterward, we take the MTR to the southern tip, to Signal Hill and the Lego Discovery Center (disappointing) and to the mall featuring Loewe and other high-end brands, which is quite impressive. 

The K 11 Art Museum is unfortunately closed on Thursdays, so we can finally return without guilt to the hotel or its pool on the 9th floor. 

After a meal at the neighboring steakhouse, we achieve a personal record: taking the MTR to the ICC and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel inside it. It has the highest bar on the 118th floor where I've had one - or several - drinks. This exceeds the Cloud 9 in the Jin-Mao Tower in Shanghai (89th floor). 

Using the metro is actually very easy. It's excellently signposted, and you simply pay with your credit card when entering and exiting. By chance - because we had to go to a service counter due to an issue - we learned that seniors over 70 receive a significant discount, instead of 13 HKG-$ (about 1.5 €) only 5.5 = 60 cents! 

The taxi scene is dominated by Toyota, featuring many older models along with newer, specially designed ones.
