After disembarking, we headed to the information center of the Three Gorges Dam. From a viewpoint hill, accessible via four escalators, there is a good overview of the dam and the lock staircase.
Downstream, there is also a ship lift.
Our evening destination was the small city of Zhangjiajie (1.3 million inhabitants) in the eponymous national park.
