One of the highlights of this trip: the world's largest megacity (34 million inhabitants), eight times the size of Saarland. From Elin Park, and especially from its modern observation tower, you have fantastic views over the sea of buildings and the tangled highways at the confluence of the Jialing and Yangtze rivers. The metro station is located on the 7th floor of a building. The nighttime illumination is legendary and hard to surpass.
