The first day at the lake

Lago General Carrera is the second largest lake in South America and it also has two names: Lago General Carrera in Chile and Lago Buenos Aires in Argentina.

It is the second largest lake in South America and covers an area of 1,850 square kilometers. In Germany it would be a lake between Frankfurt and Nuremberg.

Today we spent a quiet day around a small part of the lake. A waterfall, a trip to the end of the Levican peninsula and another delicious meal at the restaurant that our landlady had recommended to us. Very good recommendation 🍽️🥩🥒🍅🧅🥗🍰☕️

Sandra had already worked off the calories before the start. She was already doing early morning exercise in the surrounding mountains with the family's three Australian Shepherds ⛰️
