Working on the lavender farm

So it all began on Monday with the job. On Sunday, I met Ethan at his rental houses, which are a dream. In the woods right by the lake. It's about 5 minutes from my overnight place. We chatted a bit, he's a really nice dude, looks just like I imagined: orange beard and hair, cap, sunglasses, outdoor clothing, vest, big truck. I signed the documents and the next day we met in a parking lot where he picked me up. We headed to his lavender farm. But everything you see belongs to him, the whole land, it's crazy, you have no idea, it's a massive area. So we made the lavender farm winter-proof. He was super nice and explained everything to me in detail. First I rolled up some ropes, not so easy though because they get really heavy. Then we took off some awnings and laid them together and brought stuff to the container, then I carried some chairs around that we'll transport tomorrow. Then I unscrewed the parasol stands (I hate everything with screws, mother and co) which was a dirty job, I'll tell it as it is. Then I had my time off, went to the camp and cooked. I took a little walk along Lake Pukaki with a view of Mt. Cook and read and stuff. The next day was a whole different level. All day we moved furniture from the farm to a nearby hut with a trailer. Tables, benches, chairs, swings, benches (all made of wood, so everything was heavy), compressor, compressor house, bicycles, etc. It was a fucking exhausting day, but it felt good. I then received gifts: lavender oil, roll-on, body lotion, face cream, soap, pretty cool. I went to Twizel to shower and bought a little table there because cooking on the floor is not the vibe. That night it started to rain, and Ethan texted me, saying we can't work like this, so I basically have today and tomorrow off, so I went to Lake Tekapo today, Wednesday, because I want to go to the Tekapo Springs, warm pools :) Tomorrow let's see, because it's supposed to get cold. I'll be working again on Friday if the weather holds up, and on Saturday we're going to Mt. Cook, the weather should be better then.
