Day 14: To Florida City

Sunday, January 12

Breakfast on the balcony with a view of the swimming pool. Then we pack our bags and head to Florida City via the Everglades. Along the way, we stop a few times and see many alligators, fish, turtles, and birds. Sometimes there’s an alligator by the roadside as well.

When we arrive at the hotel, it’s warm and we soon find ourselves in the pool. At the end of the afternoon, we go to the outlet center to shop. We find food at Texas Roadhouse. A true USA experience with steaks, burgers, fried onion blossoms, and line dancing. If Nils had been celebrating his birthday here, he would have been sung to while sitting on a western saddle😄.

At the checkout, you get to choose how much tip to give, ranging from 15 to 25%.

Back at the hotel, the boys go for another swim.
