Weil am Rhein/ Basel
Day 2 in Weil am Rhein/ Basel

Unfortunately, I cannot upload images at this time.
Almost on time at 8 o'clock, I thought the bike was ready to go. I only noticed the flat tire when I moved the bike. So, before the first ride, I had my first flat tire. The tire was patched up, and at the gas station, it was properly inflated again.
Now it seemed like we could finally set off. Wrong thought – the technology was not cooperating. The usually functioning navigation from Komoot didn't work today, of all days. So, I purchased the premium package, and off we went.
From the weir at Altrhein in Märkt, the path went along dikes between A5 and the Altrhein heading north.
The gravel paths were not always easy to ride on, and the constant ups and downs of the dyke were somewhat annoying.
In Breisnach, the beverage supplies were replenished, and some snacks were purchased.
Just past Breisnach, the (Old) Rhine meets the Rhine side canal again.
Then we passed by many sand and gravel works.
A second break was taken at Ichenheim. Benches and villages were rather scarce along the route.
The path to France led over the Pierre-Pflimlin Bridge. Along the Bassin Vauban, we headed towards the accommodation. Due to several closures and detours, it wasn't easy to find.
