After a good breakfast, the bike was packed by 9:30 AM, and we were ready to go. I set off under a bright blue sky and sunshine.
Just before noon, I reached Koblenz. I took a lunch break with tarte flambée and a glass of wine.
After a short visit to the German Corner and a little tour through the old town, I continued towards Bonn.
From Bad Breisig to Kripp, the bike path was one big bumpy ride. The already existing aches and the bike path made cycling less enjoyable.
As a small compensation, I treated myself to a Mantaplatte. The break did good for my rear and my mood. On a good bike path, I then headed all the way to Bonn.
