Bergen Norway Day 21

Today the report was delayed, but the software threw a wrench in our plans and the images cannot be inserted into the text as usual. Sorry.

Man, it took a long time this morning to decide what we would do and where we would go, and then...... everything turned out differently.

Bergen was targeted, even though this meant leaving the nice weather for the typical rainy weather of Bergen. Bergen is probably the rainiest city in Europe. Allegedly, babies are even born here wearing rain pants.😊

On the way to Bergen, we felt like we spent half the time in some tunnel, including the longest in the world, the Lærdal Tunnel, which is 24.5 kilometers long. It even has three rest areas with blue lighting.

Another interesting stop on the way was at Skjervsfossen. The parking lot has a toilet with a special view.

Upon arriving in Bergen, Tina guided us to a super conveniently located parking spot by the harbor (https://park4night.com/de/place/421514). We were super quickly in the center of Bergen and could admire the wonderful old houses.

In many corners of the old town, we discovered interesting street art (à la Banksy).
