HZT 30 and Three Peaks Greece Day 31

Wow, already 30 years, and we want to reward ourselves with a 3 Peaks tour in the Dolomites. So, out of bed, breakfast, and off we go. We quickly pay for the parking spot in the village and then head towards 'Drei Zinnen Haus'.

90 minutes everything is great, wonderful roads, stunning landscapes, over the Passo di Maurio,

everything is great. But then began what I like to call 'Italian, beautiful weather, Sunday madness'. Hundreds of people, access only with reservation, .... Not for us, so we take the 3rd exit in the roundabout and get away.

14 km further, we found a nice parking space with a beautiful hike

along the Fanes found and tackled. The ascent was monotonous, an old military road up, but then it went back along many waterfalls,

dreamlike. Especially the many great plants (Lady's slipper was among them).

After about 3.5 hours we were back and continued to Rodeneck, to a super P,

where we can finally stand freely again.
