Off towards the Albanian border, Vikos Gorge. As always, we traveled along pothole-riddled country roads through the Greek hinterland, enjoying wonderful landscapes and great spontaneous rest stops.
Already after a few meters, a sudden full stop was necessary! A turtle was wandering right in the middle of the road. So we had to start a rescue operation immediately.

After about 1.5 hours, we enjoyed our first nice tea break with a great view. We had the second break near a historic bridge over the Viosa.
Here the question arose, is Tina going to swim or not? As expected, the water wren actually ended up in the chilly water 😂.
After that, we drove to today's Natura camper stop (https://www.park4night.com/lieu/158210/) at Vikos Gorge.
A very, very quick dip in the river, it was freezing cold, but it had to be done.
