Forggensee 2026 - RIP Tim Curry

As I just read, Tim Curry unfortunately passed away at the age of 80 in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday. Of course, I primarily associate Tim Curry with Pennywise the singing clown; however, he became one of my absolute favorite actors especially thanks to his smaller (and more eccentric) roles like Mr. Jigsaw in 'Loaded Weapon 1', Dr. Poole in 'Oscar - From Rags to Riches' ('Dr. Poole???' - 'Haallloo'), the Dark Lord in 'Legend', Cardinal Richelieu in 'The Three Musketeers', and of course as the receptionist Mr. Hector in 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York'.

The special thing about Tim Curry, from my perspective, was that he made every villain in his own way sympathetic through his unmistakable charm and charisma. You could easily buy into any of Tim Curry's crazy and eccentric characters because he always took them seriously in the right way.

I would have liked to see a few more films with you.
