Breakfast with the Hippos

….the second day of our adventure at the Mahangu Lodge began with breakfast during a boat trip on the Okavango. While breakfasting, we sailed past hippos, crocodiles, cormorants, and peacefully grazing antelopes on the shore. Thus, the day could begin.
Back at the lodge, we relaxed on the terrace and enjoyed a delicious slice of apple pie and a cappuccino for lunch. In the afternoon, we headed into the park for the second part of our safari adventure. Fortunately, the group was small; we were alone with our guide ;-).
Good three hours of safari again with wonderful encounters in the endless expanses of the Okavango…
