Sissi won't let us go
Sissi just won't let us go...we stay a little longer and enjoy the storm and the waves..

We are awakened by rain, and unfortunately, the weather doesn't look any better for the entire day. We have to get through this and spend Christmas day editing movies, sorting photos, and updating the blog...so pure 'work'.
Our festive Christmas menu consists of bratwurst – leftovers from yesterday – and potatoes with fat...so light fare. We will watch a Christmas movie today to get in the mood a little...let's see what. I've seen the ultimate Christmas movie 'Help, It's Christmas Time' too many times already...it's enough by now.
In the afternoon, we finally get the chance to go outside...wonderful. We walk all the way around the area back towards the harbor...a really great place. We still see a butcher on the main street, of course, the bakery, a pizzeria, a dentist, and a kind of hospital/doctor...so everything a tourist might need is here.
The harbor and the Palm Hotel have a different charm when there's a bit of rain. A beautiful rainbow appears in the sky and I hold my hands underneath it, but nothing falls in. We start our way back, see Claudia and Udo on the other side of the harbor, and make our way along the kitchen towards the motorhome...the air is wonderfully fresh and we enjoy the walk...it gets dark again, and we enjoy our main course as described above...for us, it is just another day like any other.
Unfortunately, I can't call my mother as she is still sick and has no voice...thanks to technology we can at least chat via WhatsApp.
The day ends with an American chaotic Christmas movie...no, not 'Home Alone'. It was really okay...
You can tell we are getting older (hopefully). At 10:30 PM, we are both tired and turn off the light...oh man, but that's how it is.
