Charleston and Savannah

The weeks are passing by, nothing special happens. But I planed my first roadtrip and I planed to travel alone, what I'm really happy about. I planed to drive to Charleston and also spend a day in Savannah. My host dad has a cousin in Charleston so I was able to stay with them. I was really happy about that but a little scared as well, because I didn't know these people. But it all went pretty well. I stared Thursday morning at 6. Gerry's grandmothers watched him thursday and friday. I arrived in Charleston around 3:30 pm and visited the waterfront and walked through the streets. 

Die Wochen gehen vorbei und es passiert nichts wirklich spannendes. Aber ich habe meinen ersten Roadtrip geplant und ich habe geplant, dass alleine zu machen, wo ich sehr glücklich drüber bin. Ich habe mir vorgenommen nach Charleston zu fahren und auch einen Tag in Savannah zu verbringen. Der Cousin meines Gastvaters wohnt in Charleston, so dass es mir möglich war bei ihm zu wohnen. Da war ich wirklich froh drüber, aber ein bisschen komisch war es schon, weil ich ihn ja nicht kannte. Aber alles hat super funktioniert. Ich bin am Donnerstag Morgen um 6 los gefahren. Gerry's Omas haben Donnerstag und Freitag auf ihn aufgepasst. Um 15:30 Uhr bin ich in Charleston angekommen und habe den Park am Wasser besucht und bin ein bisschen durch die Straßen gewandert.

I arrived at Adam's (my hostdad's cousin) house around 8 pm. They have been so lovely and it was so nice. The next day I drove to Savannah, which was a two hour drive.

Um 8 bin ich bei Adam (Cousin meines Gastvater's) gewesen. Die waren einfach super nett und es war echt schön. Am nächsten Tag bin ich nach Savannah gefahren, was nochmal 2 Stunden Fahrt war.
