Blue Pools instead of Franz-Josef Glacier

We stayed 2 nights at the hostel of Franz-Josef Glacier. Unfortunately, it rained the whole time and the valley was foggy, so we decided to move on and skip Franz-Josef and Fox Glacier.

Instead, we made a stop at the Blue Pools. The drive there took about 3.5 hours.

After a 1-hour visit, we continued to Wanaka. Along the way, we made several stops to break up the journey. In the evening, we checked into our accommodation and ended the day.
