Day 11 Namsen

Today I am at the Lilleoen Farm, which is a farm located directly by the river and therefore offers a second source of income for the farmer who rents out boats and sleeping accommodations.

After taking a hot shower for what felt like an hour yesterday to get back to normal temperature, I stood there with a slightly pained expression on my face, but with eager anticipation.

Yesterday, the farmer promised me that he would organize something regarding fishing.

Salmon fishing here is done with lures, which are artificial fish with two treble hooks attached. This is done from a rowing boat. So you need a boat and someone constantly rowing, as it is trolling fishing and the boat must always be in motion. You also need the complete equipment, including a life jacket which is legally required.

Yes, as you can see, my meditation and my need for food procurement, what a great word, have miraculously come together and today I caught two fish.

Small, but perfect for lunch and the second one for dinner.
